Company background
Piribo Ltd established in 2004 by Edwin Bailey, started life as a specialist online shop for market research concerned with the biotechnology, medical and pharmaceutical industry. Pharmaceutical-market-research.com continues to be one of the most respected suppliers of business information to this sector.
Capitalising on the success of Piribo the team decided to expand into other industries and market sectors. The website, ReportBuyer.com was officially launched on 17 January 2007 covering over 250 areas of global business.
Over the last four years, ReportBuyer.com has rapidly increased its customer, supplier and title list.
The team are still striving to make ReportBuyer.com the first online destination for market research reports.

Edwin Bailey, Founder & Managing Director
Edwin Bailey has over 12 years experience in the business >information industry having worked for leading companies such as SMi Group Ltd, Financial Times Business and Informa Plc. He is the founder of URCH Publishing Ltd and the author of successful market reports. He has a Geography MA degree from University College London (UCL).
Nick Catt, Director
Nick Catt graduated with a Business degree in and has over 14 years experience in the IT Sector, working as a Business Analyst and E-commerce Development Manager for BP. Nick is also a founder of Redwire Design, a creative web design and internet development company.

2007- January: Formal launch of the website ReportBuyer.com (press release)
- August: Just 8 months after launch, the site already has 30,000 titles
- October: 40,000 titles available on the website
- March: 50,000 titles available on website
- July: Exhibits at annual SLA event in Seattle
- April: Launches an innovative affiliate scheme, one of the first in the B2B sector.
- October: Sponsors the Society of Competitive Intelligence (SCIP) European conference
- June: An impressive 100,000 titles available
- September: Launch of new Chemicals market channel reflecting customer demand
- October: 300th publisher agrees to work with us
- December: Launch of new look website, with a cleaner layout
- January: Implemented new search, based on Xapian [http://xapian.org/] to ensure that website users can find the most relevant information as quickly as possible.
- April: New design for Channel homepages making content more timely and easy to find
- September: Reached a milestone 150,000 products.
2011
- March: Launched new search functionality, allowing users to filter by publisher, date, price etc.
- May: Number of products on site passes 200,000 mark.
- July: Opened USA sales office
2012
- January: Number of products passed quarter of million.
- March: Launched new specialist site covering Global Packaging Industry.
- May: Launch of new site covering the global construction market.
- May (16th) Change of company name. Piribo Ltd becomes Report Buyer Ltd.
