The brakes market is valued according to the retail selling price (RSP) of brake components, including pads and discs. Labor charges and wholesale-related revenues are not included. The data relates only to the market for the repair of light vehicles (cars and light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes in weight). Any currency conversions used in the creation of this report have been calculated using constant 2006 annual average exchange rates.
