The trucking market value is defined as revenues generated from the transportation of goods and passengers by road. The main categories are freight (both in-house and out-sourced), passenger transportation (including taxi, bus and coach services) and vehicle rental and leasing. Market values are calculated in terms of the price paid by the end-user of the service, and include all relevant taxes and levies. All currency conversions are at constant 2007 average annual rates.
