Uzbekistan: Bank Deposit Rates

At the beginning of each month, AFS-Research is administering survey with purpose of gathering information about average p.p.a. rates for  banking deposits in commercial banks of Uzbekistan, and related changes in it.
Survey data is gathered by our analyst in direct contact with major banks of Uzbekistan and from local media, and includes the following typical p.p.a. rates (representing major rates in retail banking deposits):
Checking accounts in UZS, Debit card accounts in UZS, 3M term deposit in UZS, 6M term deposit in UZS, 12M term deposit in UZS, 1y+ term deposit in UZS, Checking accounts in USD, 3M term deposit in USD, 6M term deposit in USD, 12M term deposit in USD, 1y+ term deposit in USD, Checking accounts in Euro, 3M term deposit in Euro, 6M term deposit in Euro, 12M term deposit in Euro, 1y+ term deposit in Euro.

Review covers deposit rates of each bank for current, previous month, monthly change and YTD change.
Average p.p.a. rates for each type of deposit are calculated, as well as Average term deposit p.p.a. rate for UZS, USD and EUR.
Average term deposit p.p.a. rate in UZS for current month is 23.86%.
Average term deposit p.p.a. rate in USD for current month is 7.58%.
Average term deposit p.p.a. rate in EUR for current month is 6.29%.
Review is published on monthly basis.
