All requirements and regulations for commercial banks are included in The Law of the People's Republic of China on Commercial Banks. The minimum registered capital varies from 100 million Renminbi (RMB) ($12.5 million) for city commercial banks and foreign banks, to 1 billion RMB ($125 million) for commercial banks at the national level.
