Summary

"Cost savings as a key factor influencing most decisions on managed services uptake can never be stressed enough. Ironically, not many managed services or managed services providers ace in these areas in the enterprises' scorecards. The problem, however, may not necessarily be just the inability of service providers to deliver cost savings. It could also be that enterprises do not fully understand their internal cost structures," says Karen Rondon, research manager, Communications, IDC Philippines.
