Tighter and Stronger Policies For All

Tighter lending policies by banks, stronger investigation by credit providers, all to lower income earners are all major changes to the Property Management industry in the US. Despite house prices depreciating in 2009, many current renters will postpone purchases at the start of the year, assuming prices are yet to hit bottom. Constant criticism of the Federal Government's stimulus package as a housing industry saviour, approved in February 2009, is hopefully not the industries last chance for a timely recovery.

This industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in renting or leasing real estate to others; managing real estate for others; selling, buying, or renting real estate for others; and providing other real estate related services, such as appraisal services. Management includes ensuring that various activities associated with the overall operation of the property are performed, such as collecting rents, and overseeing other services (e.g. maintenance, security, trash removal).
