Canadian ICT 2010-2014 Forecast Summary

This IDC study outlines our forecast for the Canadian information, communications, and technology markets for the five-year period between 2010 and 2014. It provides an update to Canadian ICT 2009-2013 Forecast Summary (IDC #CA3ICTE9, May 2009), and it provides information on the trends and direction of all three major IT markets (hardware, software, and services) as well as the top-line communications market over our five-year 2010-2014 forecast. Five years of historical data is also included for your reference. It is the single most comprehensive forecast study on the Canadian ICT market produced by IDC Canada.

"The Canadian ICT industry is beginning to recover from its worst dip in decades. Some product categories will take years to reach their former spending levels, while others, like wireless, software, and services, will grow faster than the rest of the recovering economy," says Chris Sullivan, vice president of Finance and Operations at IDC Canada.
