China Electronic Components Industry Report, 2007

In Jan-Feb 2007, the main business revenue of China electronic information enterprises above designated size reached RMB 606.2 billion, up 16% year-on-year, among which the manufacturing industry was RMB 541.2 billion, rising 15.5%, and the software industry RMB 65 billion, 20.5%. Total profits of the whole industry achieved RMB 14.41 billion, down 7.6% from a year earlier.

The foreign trade volume of China electronic components industry amounted to USD 107.68 billion and, exports reached USD 60.25 billion, up 32.5% and accounting for 35.7% of national total exports. Besides, imports reached USD 47.43 billion, up 21.9%.
