Summary

This IDC study, specifically IDC Asia/Pacific Telecommunications and WAN Usage Study, 2008, looks at the requirements of enterprise telecommunications managers in the Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) or APEJ region. "A majority of enterprises are now more concerned with price. Our respondents cited cost as the key factor in selecting a telecommunications SP and the services that they subscribe to. This trend is the result of diminishing differentiation factors on connectivity services, as most SPs provide similar services," says Kenneth Liew, senior market analyst, Communications Research, IDC Asia/'Pacific.
