Cloud Computing Attitudes

This IDC study examines the cloud server market by analyzing the results of a survey fielded in January 2010. The analysis includes private cloud, public cloud, virtualization rates, company size, potential benefits and challenges, and current market leaders.

"The future of private and public cloud is a bright one. Cloud addresses key concerns for IT decision makers, especially ease-of-use issues," said Katherine Broderick, research analyst, IDC's Enterprise Servers and Datacenter Trends. "This survey exposes which IT organizations will likely deploy cloud computing environments and which will not."
