It also presents the industry initiative Secure Enterprise 2.0 Forum, which is actively promoted by Worklight.

The industry impetus to leverage the Web experience for enterprise collaboration and communication gives rise to new players that are keen to ride the emerging Enterprise 2.0 wave. WorkLight is one of the startups that lay a bet on Enterprise 2.0 and has since been attracting industry attention.

We are well aware that consumer communication and collaboration has been witnessing phenomenal innovations over the past decade, and in comparison, enterprise communication is still playing catch up. WorkLight is keen to leverage innovations on the consumer side of the Web to deliver Enterprise 2.0 tools for enterprise communications and collaboration. WorkLight has been in existence since 2006, with funding from Genesis Partners, Index Ventures, and Shlomo Kramer. It has offices in New York and Israel.
