Summary

The Danish market for outsourcing IT solutions is continuing to show good growth rates, but IDC sees a more fragmented picture to where the market is heading."We are seing a more blurred picture with shorter contract lengths, some components being insourced again and increased interest in outsourcing from first time outsources", says Research Manager Brian Troelsen.

The lack of IT-resources in Denmark will have a two-way impact on the outsourcing industry."Initially this will benefit outsourcing vendors as especially small-to-midsized companies will turn to the outsourcing option to remedy the situation, but eventually outsourcers themselves will have problems attracting qualified personnel. The solution is increase the use of global sourcing models", ends Brian Troelsen
