Summary

IT Outsourcing amounted to a total of 9,924 MSEK for the first half of 2007, a 3.6% increase over the second half of 2006, during which the full year reached 19,118 MSEK. 2006 was the year when the divide within IT Outsourcing became all the more obvious as IS Outsourcing nearly stagnated while all the action seemingly took place in the areas of Application Management and Hosted Application Management.

"2006 saw the same 4.2% growth as 2005 in the Swedish IT Outsourcing landscape", says Managing Director Nils Molin, IDC."But it is sufficient to take a glimpse beneath the seemingly calm surface to discover that there is in fact a lot of motion. The winners will be those who anticipate and react to the needs of the customers in the dynamic outsourcing marketplace.".
