IDC's Japan IT Security Taxonomy 2009

This IDC study (which is a translation of the Japanese report IDC #J9220101) defines the security products and services that are also used in another IDC study on the Japan IT security market scheduled for release in 2009.

"Information security is a means of supporting corporate value. Its importance as a criterion in determining corporate risk is increasing for purchasers, outsourcers or banks considering funding loans. Combining effective information risk control and improvements in business valuation is becoming popular.
