This study examines the results of a survey of over 800 IT departments in North America conducted by IDC in September and October 2005 to provide the current status of the use of application deployment software to enable and deploy business process automation (BPA) solutions. This research is done primarily to support the development of key assumptions and market drivers for the upcoming IDC forecast period (2006?2010). The results illustrated in this document are primarily divided by size of company/organization (based on number of employees), but additional research is available to IDC clients based on other criteria.
