Highlights

A more detailed look into the technology features present in vendors' solutions makes it clear why EMC has an unequivocal leadership in this category. Although EMC faces tough competition from other ECM vendors it has managed to maintain a presence among the top three vendors in all but two of the technology assessment criteria.

The overall view with regards to market impact is that of a race between EMC and Microsoft over revenues, reach and recognition. The two vendors are the top two in almost every impact category with the third placed vendor generally quite far behind.
