PBG is PepsiCo's largest manufacturer, seller and distributor of carbonated and non-carbonated beverages. In March 2007, PepsiCo and PBG formed PR Beverages Limited, a joint venture comprising PepsiCo's concentrate and PBG's bottling businesses in Russia.
The group collaborated with the state of Georgia and Governor Sonny Perdue to promote anti-littering initiatives. The campaign includes Pepsi bottlers across the state and Wild Adventures Theme Park.In 2006, the group's revenues grew by 7.1% over 2005 due to the increase in sales from the Europe, Mexico, the US and the Canada.
The group's operations in Spain performed poorly in fiscal 2005; however, in 2006, the group changed its financial reporting methodology to represent three reportable segments the US and Canada, Europe and Mexico.In 2007, the group plans to change its pricing policy, due to increase in the prices of the raw material.
