Introduction

In fiscal year 2007, Sherwin-Williams acquired the Philadelphia based MA Bruder & Sons, an acquisition that brought in 131 stores to Sherwin-Williams's operations, and the Spokane based Columbia Paint & Coatings, which added another 41 stores to the company's operations. These acquisitions expanded the company's store network in the US.
