Summary

Today, the world energy reserve is decreasing rapidly and the price of crude oil is rising constantly, so government of each country has reached common understanding of the development of renewable energy. Wind power becomes a new hotspot as its zero pollution, low maintaining cost and renewable feature. Although China's development of wind power generation developed late, it has got great development in recent years under the impulse of market demand and government encouragement, especially in the technology. China's wind power generation industry develops from trial generation to large scaled industrialization through cooperating with international wind power manufacturers and introducing technologies. Therefore, State Development & Reform Committee came up with such target that the installed capacity of wind turbine should be 10million kW and 30 kW respectively in 2010 and 2020.

According to the development planning, the market size of China wind power industry shall be RMB 360 billion in next 15 years. Although Chinese energy industry is not fully open, with China's entry into WTO, Chinese market economy will get further development and China's energy industry means great market and investment opportunity.
