Summary

China's steel industry has experienced significant changes in recent years. The crude steel capacity in 2005 is almost three times that of 2000. This huge expansion of China's steel capacity drove the industry from one of insufficient supply to surplus, and in 2006, China has evolved from a net importer to net exporter of steel. The rising of overcapacity has the concern of the Central Government, and the National Development and Reform Committee (NDRC) has already implemented policies to eliminate inefficient capacity within the sector.

This exclusive forecast from Growell contains proprietary information developed from contacts within the steel industry and offers rare insight needed to enhance your own company's performance and competitiveness.
