Analysis report on China Packaging & Printing Industry

There are nearly 94,000 packaging & printing enterprises with over 0.3 million workers and annual output of about RMB 120 billion. In recent years, the growth speed of China packaging & printing industry is higher than that of GDP and in 2002 and 2003 it reached 12%. The good development tendency of label printing will be a new limelight in the packaging & printing industry. Its annual growth rate keeps at 15%~20%, which is incomparable for other packaging & printing industries. After China's entry into WTO, some large international packaging & printing enterprises entered China one after another, causing a strong impact on Chinese products and market. There are a lot of large enterprises and group corporations with over 0.1 billion annual sales value in China. State-owned enterprise, new township enterprises and Joint Venture occupied the industry and continue their development.
