In 2006, the sales volume of global forklift market amounted to 824,095 units, rising 11.72% compared to the year 2005. Of all, the sales volume of Asian forklift market reached 230,851 units, growing 16.99% year-on-year. And the sales volume of Chinese market arrived at 90,015 units, up 34.11% from a year earlier and, the figure ranked the first in Asia for the first time and only second to America in the world.
