£25-32k + bonus
The Role
Due to expansion we need an experienced enthusiastic php web developer to join our technical team. The developer is key to the company?s expansion plans and therefore offers the right candidate an excellent opportunity to develop their role within the organisation. We expect the candidate to have at least two years experience working on high quality professional / commercial websites. In the longer term we expect them to provide creative ideas and solutions to a website?s development. There may also be the opportunity to work on other varied projects.
Main Duties
- Develop, maintain and expand functionality within reportbuyer.com
- Plan, design and future requirements specifications
- Assist in the maintenance of core CMS systems
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of two years experience on professional / commercial websites
- Proven commercial experience using the following languages PHP, MySQL, XML, XSLT and CSS in a Linux / UNIX environment.
- Good understanding of Web and Accessibility standards in a Content-Managed environment.
- Good verbal & written communication skills
- Examples of current and past work (including current production work) are essential.
Desirable Skills
- Proven experience of hitting commercially sensitive deadlines
- Relevant Degree

The job will be based in our relaxed, warehouse-style offices in fashionable Bermondsey, London SE1, just 5 minutes walk from the famous Tower Bridge.
