Futhermore, novel antagonists of von Willebrand Factor (vWF) / GP Ib or GP VI are presented and pipeline compounds directed against other targets identified (thromboxane As, cyclooxygenase, integrins, serotonin 5-HT2A and others).

In addition, novel antithrombotic targets such as the (thrombin-activatable fibrinolysis inhibitor) TAFIa, plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-1) and others were found.
