Antisoma's product pipeline is built on in licensing or acquiring product candidates from other biopharmaceutical companies. The company licensed its lead candidate was licensed from Cancer Research Technology. The second product candidate is AS1409 was licensed from Merck. The company also obtained exclusive license of AS1402 from Cancer Research Technology. AS1411 was obtained from the acquisition of Aptamera in 2005. In addition, Antisoma collaborated with Argenta Discovery, a pharmaceutical R&D group, to develop improved molecules for Antisoma's programme of telomere targeting agents (TTAs). Antisoma's total revenues decreased at a CAGR of 7% from $4 million to $3 million during 2002-2006. While the company has no market products, the only revenue source was through upfront and development payments from Roche for licensing ASA404 (AS1404), AS1402 (R1550) and R1549.
