Report on China's Oral Contraceptive Drugs Industry

Oral contraceptive drug has two major components: progesterone and estrogen, which achieve contraception by taking effects on physiology. Through detailed data analysis, this article is to show China's utilization rate of oral contraceptive drug is considerably lower than that in developed country, and is of low total utilization rate, but with a huge number of users absolutely. As a part of the .national policy of family planning, China practices the national supply system of basic oral contraceptive drug, at the same time, the market of oral contraceptive drug as a commodity is also very competitive, thus this article is to elaborate on these aspects, and finally it describes the R&D direction of oral contraceptive drug.
