Summary

The Middle East and Africa region is a mix of markets experiencing different stages of broadband evolution. Many countries in the Middle East have high rates of broadband penetration. Israel, for example, has one of the highest penetration rates in the world with more than 65%. However, African countries lag behind when it comes to broadband. South Africa, despite being one of the strongest countries in the region, has a total broadband penetration rate of below 1%.
