Summary

Like most telecommunication companies, Telecom Italia would love to use Ethernet LAN to deliver triple-play services throughout the home. Unfortunately few homes in Italy have an Ethernet LAN running through them, and installing such networks on a large scale would be out of any Telco's budget.
