This report provides information on spectrum and licensing trends for WiMAX within Asia-Pacific. Of the key WiMAX spectrum bands (2.3GHz, 2.5GHz and 3.5GHz), no one band is broadly available across Asia-Pacific and licences are often unfavourable to broad deployment. However, large blocks of spectrum are now beginning to be licensed and the situation for WiMAX deployment in key markets will become much clearer during 2007.
