IDC believes that VoIP has entered into the mainstream in the business environment.

"Both minutes and revenues will continue to increase significantly over the short to medium term but the transition from TDM to IP will not halt voice commoditization," said Angela Salmeron, research manager for IDC's European Telecommunications service.
