Summary
This IDC study highlights the results of the fourth annual Enterprise VoIP Survey conducted by IDC in conjunction with InfoWorld magazine. Completed in May-June 2008, this was a Web-based survey of InfoWorld readers. This study focuses on the results from questions about IP telephones and mobile unified communications.
"Although this data was captured before the recent economic downturn, it still highlights key perspectives on mobile UC applications, as well as which IP phones and features are actually being used," states Nora Freedman, senior analyst, Unified Communications Infrastructure. "Vendors that take heed of this guidance should be able to mitigate the downward pressure on future sales opportunities."
