The CJSC VTB Arena, a joint venture of VTB Bank together with All-Russia Society of Sports and Physical Training Dynamo is undertaking the development of VTB Arena park in Moscow, Russia.

The project involves the construction of a new complex with seating capacity of 26,319 people, multifunctional culture, 116,000m2 health and a sports center, a stadium with 33,000 seats, multifunctional arena with a seating capacity ranging from 11,500 to 14,000 seats, retail and entertainment complex, restaurants, parking facilities for 733 cars and related facilities.

Cushman & Wakefield has been appointed as a consultant in the field of commercial real estate. Comstrin Ltd appointed for monitoring of project implementation. Blackwood Real estate appointed as consultant for apartments. Hyatt International as Hospitality Consultant and ARA Design appointed for Interior Design of Hyatt Hotel.

In June 2010, Erick van Egeraat and Russian partner Mikhail Posokhin (Mosproekt-2) along with a team of consultants including Bollinger + Grohmann structural engineers, Amsterdam ArenA Advisory, Artec Acoustic consultants and Illuminator lighting consultants were appointed as design contractor on the project.

In November 2011, Colliers International was appointed as exclusive consultant for the concept development and leasing of the leisure and entertainment component of the project.

The most of the funding required for the development of the project will come from VTB Bank, 85% owned by the Russian government.

The construction contract has been awarded to Codest International in December 2011 by PMC Dynamo (a subsidiary of VTB Bank), the contract covers the development of substantial commercial properties adjacent to the Dynamo Stadium.

On February 1, 2012, the Department of Moscow Cultural Heritage issued permission for reconstruction of the stadium and its adaptation to the present-day operation.

In July 2012, Banks Cassa Depositi E Prestiti, Intesa Sanpaolo, the Agency SACE, banks Societe Generale and kfw Ipex-Bank VTB concluded with an agreement for U$500 million to finance De Eccher Group to build up the area around Moscow Dynamo Stadium.

In June 2013, VINCI Construction Grands Projets, a subsidiary of VINCI was appointed as the construction contractor for the project.

In March 2014, VELKO-2000 was appointed as facade contractor.

In June 2014, CJSC VTB Arena cancelled a contract with the French company VINCI due to the lack of any significant progress on the construction site.

On June 30, 2014, Codest International S.r.L. signed the contract Dynamo central stadium.

Construction activities are expected to be completed by the fourth quarter 2018.
