Adelaide United Football Club (AUFC) and City of Playford (CoP) are jointly undertaking the construction of the Regional Sports Precinct project in South Australia, Australia.

The project involves the construction of a regional sports complex in four phases. It includes the construction of a four court indoor sports center, softball facility including six diamonds, commercial area, the development of school ovals to cater for sporting competition and training, the expansion of Aquadome facility linked with additional fitness components and the installation of safety and security systems.

The US$16 million first phase includes the construction of a bowling center, a 22-court tennis complex, soccer hub with four full sized pitches, new lawn bowls facility including an undercover green and walking and cycling tracks.

The US$3.7 million second phase includes the construction of a FIFA-standard synthetic pitch, a natural turf pitch, clubrooms featuring spectator seating and car parks.

In 2012, Suter Planners and Connor Holmes were appointed as master planners and council approved the development of a master plan for the project.

On September 17 2014, AUFC and CoP entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the development of the project.

Conceptual designs have been completed.

JPE Design Studio Pty. Ltd has been appointed as architect and Kennett Builders as construction contractor.

In the first quarter of 2016 construction works commenced on the first phase.

On May 6, 2016, construction works on tennis complex commenced with a groundbreaking ceremony.

In July 2017, construction works on Playford Tennis Centre in the first phase was completed.

Construction activities on the first and second phases are underway.
