The proposed highway section will be executed as BOT (Toll) project in the DBFOT (design, build, finance, operate and transfer) pattern.
In the fourth quarter of 2010, Intercontinental Consultants and Technocrats Pvt. Ltd completed the feasibility study and detailed project report for the project.
In September 2015, G R Infra Projects Ltd was appointed as a construction contractor.
In November 2015, construction works on the project have commenced.
Rodic Consultants Pvt Ltd has been appointed as the consulting engineer.
Construction works are underway and scheduled to be completed by May 2018.
