Two Trees Management Company LLC (Two Trees) is undertaking the Redevelopment of Domino Sugar Factory project in New York City, the US.

The project involves the construction of five buildings comprising 2,300 units on a 4.45ha site of Domino Sugar Factory in Williamsburg. The first building includes the construction of a 16-story building with 522 units on a 35,559m2 area, a retail space on 870m2 area, 266 parking facilities, 105 affordable housing units, residential high rises, offices, and 2ha of green space.

The project will feature an 182m tower and three smaller buildings, two shaped like big rectangular doughnuts and a third will be in shape of a pyramid in Egypt.

The developers plan to bring an urban farm, a bicycle course, a community reading center and a variety of local vendors to a 5,110m2 plot on Kent Avenue, one of the five parcels of the project site.

SHoP Architects, Ismael Leyva and Landscape Architect Field Operations are the design team for the project.

In March 2013, the project master plan was released for the public review process and in April 2013, the Two Trees has contracted with New York Insulation Inc. to remove asbestos at the 4.45 ha, site by the East River.

In March 2014, City Planning Commission approved the project and demolition work on the old Domino Sugar plant initiated.

On March 2, 2015, ground breaking ceremony held on the project site.

In July 2017, construction of 87 of the 522 units completed.
