IDC reviewed its IT services forecast in 3Q18, and we have adjusted the European IT services forecast upward for all the forecast years to reflect the recent trends and developments in the market. The forecast shows that all countries and segments (except IT outsourcing) are expected to keep growing throughout the forecast period, and there are plenty of opportunities for continued growth for service providers."European organizations continue to look for ways to leverage digital technologies to drive strategic innovation and create measurable business outcomes. They are looking for service providers that can help and guide them in achieving this," said Arun Dani, senior research analyst, at IDC European Services. "Such digital projects will require very close collaboration between service providers and buyers. Service providers that are more flexible and willing to co-create and innovate solutions by working together with clients stand a better chance of succeeding in this space."
