Abstract

Inspection Cameras Procurement in the US
This report is intended to assist buyers of inspection cameras, also known as borescopes. Inspection cameras are small cameras attached to a tube that can reach into tight spaces, allowing users to view spaces they could not otherwise access. Using a small screen, the user may view or record the space the camera is put through. Inspection cameras are used by electricians, plumbers, contractors, surveyors, engineers, mechanics, wildlife inspectors and schools to inspect wires, faults, pipes, buildings, roofs, tunnels and cargo. They are also used for various inspections and surveys. This report excludes other types of cameras, including medical inspection, video, digital, surveillance, underwater, still and phone cameras.
