Included is a full list of tracked vendors for total HCM and lists of the top vendors in share for core HR, workforce management, recruiting, learning management, workforce performance management, and compensation management.
"The HCM application market remains a fairly fragmented market where total spending is spread across a large number of vendors, with share dropping to single digits below the top 3 vendors in aggregate and for core HR. Other segments see less top-heavy domination, such as recruiting and performance management, but each segment has a few clear market leaders followed by numerous small players," says Lisa Rowan, research vice president, HR, Talent and Learning Strategies for IDC. "The number of smaller vendors will continue to give rise to market consolidation when more dominant firms seek to gain share while also clearing the field."
