BMI View: We revised historical data for Oman's consumer electronics market in the Q415 update, withthe main change an upward revision to our estimate for handset market size after strong smartphonegrowth. We also revised our forecast, downgrading the growth outlook to reflect our assessment of a moremature market, as well as the drag on growth from heightened economic uncertainty in the face of a declinein the oil price. As a result, from 2015 we expect growth in the Omani consumer electronics market to besubdued compared to previous years. While a combination of market maturity and a challenging economicenvironment will weigh on short-to-medium-term growth, we expect a return to growth in the latter years ofthe forecast period, supported by population growth, the declining average selling prices of various devicesand the introduction of devices with new features such as wearables.

- Computer Hardware Sales: USD256mn in 2015 to USD270mn in 2019. Tablet market forecast todecline in 2015 and plateau over medium term after rapid initial boom, while economic uncertainty willact as an additional drag on growth.

- AV Sales: USD179mn in 2015 to USD180mn in 2019. AV segment expected to underperform in 2015and over medium term as TV set market saturation and price erosion and the cannibalisation of digitalcamera volumes is expected to continue.
