Oleochemicals are the potential alternatives to petrochemical products.The raw materials from which oleochemicals are obtained are: • Vegetable oils – sourced from soybeans, palm kernels, cotton seeds, copra, ground nuts, sunflower seeds, rapeseeds, linseeds, and castor beans. • Animal oils and fats – sourced from tallow and other animals, fish oils, and lard.
