Fleet Management:
The report on the fleet management sector covers the management of corporate and government fleets, with a focus on passenger cars. In this growing sector there are more than 40 fleet management companies with varying experience, business models and service levels. They include international providers, as well as local businesses and compete for contracts from national and local government as well as the corporate sector.

An Administrative Function:
Fleet management is an administrative approach that allows companies to organise and coordinate their fleet of vehicles in order to improve efficiency, reduce costs and provide compliance with government regulations. The management of fleets is either undertaken by the company itself or an agreement is set up with a fleet management company to take over all or some of the risk. When all of the risk is taken over under full management leasing, control of a fleet occurs in four main areas: acquisition
operations
remarketing
and cost management.
