This report shows procedure numbers for transcatheter aortic valve replacements (TAVI) and related diagnosis numbers of diseases of the aortic valve reported by all German hospitals between 2006 and 2014.

The first part of the report shows details of the transcatheter aortic valve procedures (TAVI), especially the kind of access: (1) endovascular or (2) transapical.
The second part focuses on diagnosed heart conditions, especially on (1) non-rheumatic aortic valve diseases, (2) rheumatic aortic valve diseases and (3) congential malformations of the aortic valve.
The report provides a general overview of diagnosis numbers and procedures per 100.000 inhabitants per federal state.
Furthermore, the “Top 5 diagnostic hospitals” – those with the most aortic valve diseases diagnoses – and the “Top 5 performers” - hospitals with most transcatheter aortic valve procedures are are identified. These data will support strategic business decisions and guide sales activities.
