This IDC Retail Insights report outlines several different ways preproduction has changed in recent months and years and why it's beneficial to retailers. It was once said that 'our best experience anywhere sets our minimum expectation everywhere.' Software providers have caught onto this notion and are giving retailers and wholesalers what they're looking for to get their jobs done in the manner in which they want to work. For the first time in the history of IDC Manufacturing Insights' 2016 Supply Chain Survey, retailers identified that their top priority moving forward is product quality. How will retailers move forward and maintain a high level of quality standards without the proper tools to stay competitive?"
