Increase in tourism also increased the on-premise consumption of beer. Can being more convenient pack format, grew by 27% in 2015. Leading brands recorded better sales of can than PET. Lager, the favorite of most of the consumers in the market continued to be the main beer type with a share of 94%. The leading international brand was Loewenbrau with a share of 25%, Holsten with a share of over 12% and Lasko Zlatorog held a share of 9%. All three brands saw an increase in volume due to the strength of their brand owners.
