A.B. Won Pat International Airport Authority (GIAA) is undertaking the construction of an international arrivals corridor at Antonio B. Won Pat Guam International Airport, Guam.

The project involves the construction of a third-level corridor for international arrivals to an existing two level building. It includes the construction of a new terminal, new gates, a fire station, air-traffic control tower and other related facilities and the installation of equipment’s and safety systems.

In June 2015, an invitation for bid (IFB) was issued for construction contract with a submission deadline of August 25, 2015. However, later the bids were cancelled by the authority, as the bids submitted substantially exceeded the budgeted amount for the project.

In December 2015, SSFM International Inc was appointed as project manager for the project.

M. Arthur Gensler Jr. & Associates Inc and Taniguchi Ruth Makio Architects has been appointed as architects and E&A Engineers as design consultant.

On February 14, 2016, the GIAA re-issued an invitation for bid for the construction of the International Arrivals Corridor and Building Seismic Upgrades.

On December 19, 2016, Black Construction appointed as construction contractor for the project with the contract value of US$97 million.

In July 2017, construction works were commenced.

Construction works are underway and are expected to be completed by August 2019.
