Forise Investments (Forise), a Chinese developer, is undertaking the construction of a mixed-use tower in Queensland, Australia.

The project involves the construction of a 297m tall, 89-story mixed-use tower on 0.35ha of land. It includes the construction of 479 apartments, a three-story podium, a 225m2 cafe, a 2,432m2 restaurant, a 771m2 shop, a 310m2 tourist shop, and parking and related facilities and the installation of elevators and safety systems.

DBI Design Pty Ltd has been appointed as architect, Windtech Consultants Pty Ltd and ATP Consulting Engineers as study consultants, Hickey Lawyers as legal advisor, Jensen Bowers Group Consultants Pty Ltd as principal surveyor, ArcelorMittal as steel supply contractor, and Eastview Australia Pty Ltd as project management contractor.

Keller Group and Mainland Civil Pty Ltd have been appointed as foundation work contractors. The works include 1.80m dia bored piles to depths of 42m incorporating large prefabricated reinforced concrete plunge columns, and 1.5m x 2.8m barrettes installed to 60m that contain steel plunge columns.

On September 28, 2015, Forise secured approval from the Gold Coast City Council.

In July 2016, Forise submitted a revised application to the council with some design changes. The new design has dropped the number of apartments from 693 to 479.

In September 2016, project secured approvals for its revised plans.

In November 2016, the foundation works commenced, which are expected to complete by the first quarter of 2018.

Subject to the completion of foundation works, Forise is expected to invite tenders for the main construction contract. The entire project is slated to be completed by 2020.
