Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP and CBT Architects has been appointed as architect, Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc. as engineering design consultant, Goulston & Storrs LLP as financial advisor, Nitsch Engineering as civil engineer, Cosentini Associates, Inc. as Consulting Engineer, Colliers International as project manager and Haley & Aldrich, Inc. as EPC contractor.

On August 5, 2015, MFC submitted a letter of intent to the Boston Redevelopment Authority (BRA) to design and build the proposed facility.

On November 10, 2015, the Boston Redevelopment Authority has given approval for the project.

Construction works are expected to commence by the end of December 2017 with the scheduled completion by the first quarter of 2019.
