City of Sydney (CoS) is planning to construct the mixed-use project in Green Square, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

The project involves the construction of a 2.86ha mixed-use development in two stages.

Stage one includes the construction of 50m heated outdoor pool, heated outdoor leisure pool, 25m heated indoor program pool with movable floor, indoor heated hydrotherapy pool, crèche and indoor play area, health and fitness center, multi-purpose synthetic sports field, sports field change rooms, public toilets and storage facilities, lighting, footpaths and landscaping and the public art.

The second stage includes the construction of an expanded multi-purpose sports field, newly landscaped areas with picnic facilities and BBQ areas, places to skate, playground, natural turf area, and the enhanced amenities building for the multi-purpose sports field.

In November 2014, Andrew Burges Architects, Squillace Architects PTY Ltd, Grimshaw and Taylor Cullity Lethlean won the design contract.

On April 16, 2015, Turner & Townsend has been appointed as financial advisers for the project.

On August 16, 2016, Expressions of Interest for the design and construction of the project were announced.

On September 6, 2016, Four companies were submitted their EOI. They are
1. Bouygues Construction Australia Pty Ltd
2. Cockram Construction Ltd
3. CPB Contractors Pty Limited
4. John Holland Pty Ltd

MG Planning Pty Ltd and Mecone have been appointed as planning consultants.

On January 10, 2017, two companies were shortlisted among the four companies and tender was issued for a design-build contractor. They are
1. Bouygues Construction Australia Pty Ltd
2. CPB Contractors Pty Limited

On May 11, 2017, City of Sydney held a meeting regarding the development approvals.

On June 9, 2017, the two shortlisted companies submitted their tenders.

In the fourth quarter of 2017, CPB Contractors Pty Limited has been appointed for the project.

Construction works on stage one will commence in the first quarter of 2018 and scheduled completion in the fourth quarter of 2019 and the design document of stage two is expected to be submitted in the fourth quarter of 2019.

As of January 2018, Pre-construction works are underway.
