Ministere de l’Interieur (MI) is developing the Fort de France Police Station Building project in Fort de France, Martinique an overseas territory of France.

The project involves the construction of a new police headquarters building.It will include the construction of a four-storied office building housing administrative and judicial services on a 5,735m2 area and other related infrastructure like construction of five-level parking facilities on a 7,740m2 area.

It will also house 6,637m2 area for commercial premises.

The building will be occupied by the Federal Police of Fort de France.

The design contract of the project has been awarded to Monnet-Le Drain and SC-PA Dervain-Van.

In the first quarter of 2014, the EPC contract was awarded to Soletanche Bachy.

In July 2015, Idex was awarded the contract for the installation of HVAC systems. Thyssenkrupp was awarded the elevator installation contract.

On September 30, 2016, the first stone for the project was laid.

Construction activities are underway and are scheduled to complete in first quarter of 2019.
